Hiring for the Long Run: HIVE Robots Partners with Think About People

Building humanoid robots that work reliably in real stores is, first and foremost, a people problem. The hardware is available to everyone. What makes the difference is the small group of engineers who can take a manipulation policy from a promising demo to a success rate a retailer will sign off on. That is why we treat hiring and onboarding as one of the most important things we do, not as an administrative task next to the real work.
Taking hiring as seriously as engineering also means knowing where we need help.
We are a small team scaling fast, and we are opening several senior technical roles at once. To keep the quality of the process at the level our candidates deserve, we have partnered with the executive search and recruitment company Think About People, who now support us with screening and interviews for our engineering roles.
Our key contact is Jens Lernø Storm, Founding Partner and Headhunter. Jens advises companies at the intersection of technology, commercial growth and people development, with leadership experience from large-scale tech environments such as Microsoft and from international growth companies including Sermo. After more than five years living and working in New York City, he brings an international perspective and a genuinely curious, relationship-driven approach to every conversation.
For candidates, nothing changes about where you apply. All roles are posted on our own job site, every application is read by HIVE, and every application is treated confidentially under the same privacy terms as before. What changes is that you get a more thorough, better prepared process, with people whose full-time job is to understand both the technology and the person in front of them.
We are hiring across manipulation, perception, control, mission orchestration and infrastructure in Copenhagen. If you want to build the physical AI stack behind humanoid robots working in real stores, we would like to talk.
